Our restaurant, located in the heart of Alcalá de Henares and led by renowned chef Alfonso Sanz, seeks professional waiters to join a passionate, excellence-oriented, and committed team dedicated to delivering a memorable gastronomic experience. Job Responsibilities Customer Service and Experience * Greet and welcome customers cordially and professionally. * Escort customers to their tables and attend to their requests promptly and efficiently. * Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring understanding of preferences, restrictions, and needs. * Recommend dishes and beverages according to customer tastes, providing detailed information about ingredients, preparations, and pairings. * Serve food and beverages in accordance with the restaurant’s presentation standards. * Ensure customers have all necessary items to enjoy their experience (cutlery, napkins, condiments, etc.). * Monitor assigned tables and anticipate customer needs. * Process partial or full payments efficiently and accurately. * Collect and record customer feedback using company-provided tools. * Handle dissatisfaction or conflict situations with professionalism, calmness, and empathy. Service Quality and Safety * Ensure customer safety by verifying allergens and confirming each dish is served as ordered. * Guarantee proper application of promotions and discounts per restaurant policy. * Take full responsibility for the customer journey: from entering the establishment to receiving the bill. Maintenance and Operational Support * Maintain optimal condition of the dining room, restrooms, tables, glassware, plants, and other assigned areas. * Conduct inventories of tableware, cutlery, and station supplies. * Collaborate with the team to ensure comprehensive and harmonious service. * Assist with additional tasks such as restocking materials (support sticks, boxes, or others) when operations allow. Candidate Profile * Prior front-of-house experience, preferably in high-end restaurants or similar establishments. * Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, and attention to detail. * Strong personal presence, responsibility, and ability to work effectively in a team. * Knowledge of dining room protocol, allergens, and basic food handling (desirable). * Availability for immediate start.
