The person filling this position will be the key figure in the customer experience, delivering high-quality service in a restaurant with a dynamic work pace. Main responsibilities include efficiently managing tasks in the dining area and providing direct, professional, and meticulous service to guests. Daily duties involve setting tables, warmly welcoming customers, accurately taking orders, and coordinating with the kitchen and bar to ensure seamless service flow. This also includes correctly presenting dishes and beverages, as well as handling payments and cash management at the end of each shift. Teamwork is essential, along with maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. We seek someone who combines practical skills with a proactive, service-oriented attitude—ensuring every guest visit is satisfying. The ability to resolve unexpected situations and adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment will be especially valued. The contract will be temporary. A minimum of one year’s prior experience as a waiter/waitress in a similar role is required, including competent handling of trays carrying glasses and food. Solid knowledge of service protocol, exceptional attention to detail, and formal hospitality training—such as a Basic Vocational Training (FP Básico) qualification or equivalent—are mandatory. Specific knowledge of wines and ham-cutting skills will be considered advantageous.
