This position will work closely with the EHS Area Manager and site leadership to ensure regulatory compliance, maintenance of certifications, and continuous improvement in safety, health, and environmental performance. Key Responsibilities * Support EHS and SEVESO programs in accordance with guidance from the EHS Area Manager. * Maintain and support ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and SEVESO certifications, including IMS manuals, procedures, and work instructions. * Actively participate in internal and external audits, including ISO and regulatory audits — some conducted by English-speaking auditors. * Coordinate activities with the plant’s External Prevention Service. * Manage contractor documentation and legal compliance requirements. * Oversee the hazardous waste management program, including collection, storage, transportation, and disposal. * Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. * Support and deliver EHS training for employees and contractors. * Maintain accurate EHS records, including training records, incident reports, and compliance documentation. * Manage Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): procurement, stock control, and distribution. * Monitor changes in EHS legislation and ensure ongoing compliance. * Actively participate in the site’s Emergency Response Team. * Contribute to investments in new equipment, certification projects, and site initiatives, working closely with multidisciplinary teams. Requirements and Competencies * Higher Technical Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention. * Proven experience in an EHS role within an industrial/manufacturing environment. * English language level: Intermediate (B2 or equivalent). * All documentation, procedures, certifications, and standards are in English. * Daily working language at the plant is Spanish. * Occasional European-level meetings may be held in English. * Perfect English is not required; sufficient comprehension of documentation, ability to follow conversations, and convey general ideas in meetings is adequate. * Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. * Solid analytical skills, with capacity to analyze data, identify trends, and propose improvements.
