**We are seeking a Communication Manager to join the Communication Department of the Catholic University of Valencia San Vicente Mártir.** **At the Catholic University of Valencia, we understand communication as a service to truth, the common good, and our educational and evangelizing mission. Therefore, we seek a person who shares this vision and is capable of driving rigorous, creative, and committed communication, contributing to making the university’s project and its Catholic identity—inspiring the University—visible.** **Responsibilities**: * Define, lead, and evaluate the overall institutional communication strategy, ensuring it reflects the University’s evangelizing, academic, and social mission, and guaranteeing effective dissemination of relevant content across various communication channels. * Coordinate the Communication Team, planning and supervising the development of institutional content (press releases, official statements, speeches, briefing documents, and key messages), fostering a communication culture aligned with the University’s ethos and ensuring consistency across all institutional messaging. * Manage relationships with media outlets, strengthening institutional reputation and positioning. * Coordinate communication for events, conferences, and academic and institutional activities in collaboration with the Marketing Department. * Supervise the creation and adaptation of content originating from various University departments to ensure alignment with institutional style, identity, and values. * Promote visibility of UCV’s teaching, research, and institutional activities in the media and digital channels. * Participate in managing communication crises, applying established protocols and contributing to safeguarding institutional reputation. * Promote, through institutional communication, the University’s mission, values, and educational project. * Project a public image consistent with the University’s mission, ethos, and educational project, contributing to reinforcing its reputation and effectively communicating its identity as a Catholic university. * Advise the Rectorate and the governing team on matters of institutional communication and reputation. * Ensure coherence of all institutional communication with the University’s identity, ethos, and mission. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, or related field. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in leadership roles in institutional, corporate, or media communication. * Experience in team management and coordination. * B2 level of English or higher is mandatory. * Strong identification with the University’s mission, ethos, and Catholic identity is required. The person appointed to this position must understand, embrace, and actively promote these principles in carrying out their responsibilities, ensuring that institutional communication contributes to expressing, reinforcing, and projecting the University’s Catholic identity and educational project. **Key benefits:** * Permanent contract. * Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexible hours).
