Career development plan and professional growth. At Apave, we are selecting a Junior Energy Efficiency Engineer to join our Environmental Division in Paterna, Valencia. Main responsibilities include: * Verification of Energy Savings Certificates (CAEs) **(main activity of the position).** * Verification of actions linked to public energy aid and subsidies. * Conducting energy audits, including mandatory audits under Royal Decree (RD) 56/2016\. * Carbon footprint and GHG emissions calculation and verification. * Issuance of Energy Efficiency Certificates. **Requirements:** * University degree **preferably in engineering disciplines** (Industrial, Energy, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental or similar). * Degrees from **other technical-scientific fields** may be accepted if the candidate meets the experience requirements specified in the **EXPERIENCE** section. * A Master’s degree in Energy, Energy Efficiency, Sustainability, or equivalent professional experience in the energy sector is highly valued. * Residence in Paterna or surrounding areas is preferred. * Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle. * **Experience:** **Demonstrable experience of at least 1 year in at least one of the following areas:** + Energy audits in accordance with RD 56/2016 **and/or** + ISO 50001 audit and/or consultancy **and/or** + Applied engineering for energy management **and/or** + **Prior verification experience**, including **a minimum of 12 effective verification days**, in any of the following fields: + - **Electricity-intensive or gas-intensive installations**. - GHG (Greenhouse Gas) verification - CAE verification - Verification of other energy/environmental verification schemes.
