Continuous training: We invest in and promote your talent, with special attention to improving your language skills. **Your typical day will sound like this…** Support and supervision: Ensure achievement of departmental objectives and compliance with critical processes and service setups within the area, according to hotel-established standards. Monitor proper use of kitchen equipment, inspecting and controlling for any incidents and reporting them if they occur. Collaborate with the Line Cook Supervisor in preparing necessary orders for each station, as well as supporting them in conducting the monthly inventory. Execution and follow-up: Plan preparations in advance to execute service as efficiently as possible. Prepare dishes following technical specifications and ensuring required quality and presentation. Assign, organize, and direct tasks to be performed by Kitchen Assistants in dish preparation, resolving any potential doubts or incidents. Set up, maintain, and dismantle buffet service. Place and organize food items in refrigerated chambers and clean them to ensure hygiene and product preservation conditions. Collect, organize, and clean the point-of-sale area where you perform your duties upon service completion. Compile a list of depleted products and report it to the Line Cook Supervisor. Control and quality: Verify the quality of ingredients used for dish preparation. Comply with, and ensure others comply with, organizational quality, safety and health, environmental, and data protection standards. **Requirements:** --------------- **You are ideal for this position if…** Vocational Training I\-II / Intermediate or Higher Vocational Degree in Culinary Arts and Gastronomy and/or equivalent. Training in sous-vide cooking or similar is desirable. Food Handler’s Certificate. Minimum 2 years’ experience in this role at 4\*-star or higher hotels. English and German, Level A1\.
