**Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP specializing in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental fields, seeks to hire 1 Bachelor’s or Master’s graduate + Official Master’s graduate in Biology, Marine Sciences, or Environmental Sciences, to be based on the island of Tenerife. **Workplace** -------------------- * Santa Cruz de Tenerife **Functions and Tasks** ---------------------- * Conduct marine data sampling in the Canary Islands, with particular emphasis on fisheries monitoring activities, including survey implementation, direct observation, analysis of existing official data, study of shellfish species, etc.; including prior bibliographic, cartographic, and database data collection, as well as data upload into a repository for subsequent analysis and evaluation. * Perform statistical analyses of environmental and/or biological data using specialized software. * Draft and prepare technical reports on marine biodiversity in the Canary Islands. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Candidates must substantiate compliance with the requirements by attaching the following documents, as applicable, in the “Annexes” section of the application (or during the selection process): * Official academic degree certificate or proof of payment of fees for issuance of the academic degree. * Employment record and/or employment contract verifying required professional experience. * Academic internship annexes verifying required academic experience, where applicable. ### **Education** #### **Academic Qualification** * Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences, or Marine Sciences + an Official Master’s Degree in the relevant specialization (MECES Level 3) (degree recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities). ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Valid Class B driving license. **Merit Criteria (Evaluated)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Additional Training** * GIS training of at least 40 hours, certified via certificate or course transcript. * Training in statistical analysis software (at least 40 hours), certified via certificate or course transcript. ### **Prior Experience** * 1 day to 9 months’ experience in conducting fisheries characterizations on shore/fish markets/vessels (to be verified during technical interview). * 1 day to 9 months’ experience in fisheries monitoring activities involving surveys or direct observation (to be verified during technical interview). * 1 day to 9 months’ experience in studying shellfish species populations. * 1 day to 1 year’s experience in marine environment work and sampling related to species and habitat monitoring (to be verified during technical interview). **Remarks** ----------------- * Offer includes: + A fixed-term contract estimated to last 9 months. + Full-time working schedule.
