Training objectives and learning activities
The intern will have the opportunity to acquire technical knowledge and develop competencies related to laboratory work and industrial quality control, participating under supervision in activities such as:
* Learning how to perform laboratory analyses of water from various sources, including cooling circuits, water\-steam cycles, water treatment plants, effluents, and oils.
* Understanding and applying laboratory procedures and standards within a real industrial environment.
* Participating in the preparation of reagents and calibration of analyzers for measuring water\-steam cycle quality parameters (pH, K, phosphate, sodium, silica, among others).
* Developing skills related to information management, teamwork, and practical application of technical knowledge.
* Becoming familiar with laboratory techniques such as chromatography and spectrophotometry.
Mentoring and monitoring
The selected candidate will be supported by a specialized departmental mentor/tutor who will continuously monitor learning progress and provide guidance throughout the entire training period. Training objectives will be established, and periodic feedback will be provided to support the development of both technical and transversal competencies.
