You will manage a cross-functional internal audit team composed of true professionals who think Out\-of\-the\-box: exploring all possibilities to effectively achieve a high level of maturity in auditing and system security while minimizing impact on operations. \#LI\-AC1 **What will you do?** * Lead / manage the internal information systems audit team. * Propose, plan, and execute an annual audit plan for MELIÁ’s information systems. * Conduct and supervise information systems audits based on the approved annual plan. * Identify, measure, and assess risks related to systems to which MELIÁ is exposed. * Support identification of relevant laws, regulations, and standards regarding system security, and support business stakeholders in maximizing tool utilization efficiency while minimizing risk. * Contribute to raising security awareness and enhancing role-specific security skills within MELIÁ. * Maximize use of Big Data Analytics via ACL and process automation. * Participate in operational audits at hotels and other Group MHI centers, as well as support the work of other auditors. * Participate in all training and/or support initiatives required for MELIÁ’s internal audit team on topics related to information systems. * Support MELIÁ’s Internal Audit leadership by participating in internal or external sessions related to information systems when requested by the department’s VP. **What are we looking for?** Academic background in Computer Science and related specializations. More than 5 years of experience in IT/IS auditing. Experience in technical, application, and process auditing. Ability to oversee data governance and IT governance models. Advanced knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standard security/cybersecurity standards (ENS, ISOs, NIST, CIS, etc.). Knowledge and application of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Skills in IT risk management and analysis. Proficiency in risk-based decision making, problem solving, and conflict resolution. Strong communication and presentation skills for delivering information to stakeholders. High analytical ability and critical thinking. Understanding of AI-related risks. Solid competencies in enterprise cybersecurity and cyber-resilience. Proficiency in data analytics tools and computer-assisted audit techniques (CAATs). Excellent English language proficiency. Willingness to travel.
