About the Role Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, the Receptionist will be responsible for ensuring a warm welcome to guests, efficiently managing check\-in and check\-out processes, and delivering exceptional service throughout their stay. As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for the following duties: * Ensure smooth and efficient guest arrivals and departures. * Provide attentive service and attend to guests’ needs throughout their stay. * Manage front office documentation, reservation systems, and guest records. * Perform other tasks assigned by the Front Office Manager. * Answer calls and emails, provide information, and assist with guest requests. * Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and concierge departments to ensure guest satisfaction. * Handle guest payments, issue invoices, and resolve billing inquiries. * Follow hotel security procedures, including guest ID verification and protection of personal data. * Professionally and promptly address and resolve guest complaints or concerns. * Ensure the reception area remains clean, welcoming, and well-organized. * Perform any other reasonable task required by the Front Office Manager. As a Receptionist, we expect the following from you: Experience and Education * Prior experience in the same role is preferred. Technical Skills * Effective communication skills in English and Spanish (additional languages are an advantage). * Willingness and flexibility to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, and night). * Neat appearance, adhering to the hotel’s grooming standards. * Basic computer knowledge, with proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Familiarity with hotel management systems (e.g., HMS, Opera, Fidelio, or similar PMS).
