At **Grupo Clave**, we are collaborating with one of **our clients — a market-leading company in the marketing and wholesale distribution of its products** — to identify a **Procurement Manager** to lead procurement strategy and purchasing operations across its logistics centers and storage facilities located in Manacor. We seek a candidate with solid experience in procurement, supplier negotiation, and team management, capable of ensuring efficient supply for an organization with significant wholesale distribution and sales activity. **What will be your mission?** ------------------------- You will be responsible for leading the Procurement Department, ensuring the continuous supply of materials, products, and services required for the operational activities of the company’s various warehouses and logistics centers. You will play a key role in cost optimization, strategic negotiations with national and international suppliers, and continuous improvement of procurement processes — directly contributing to the business’s profitability and competitiveness. You will report directly to the General Management and actively participate in the organization’s strategic decision-making. **Main Responsibilities** ------------------------- * Design and implement the company’s global procurement strategy. * Ensure efficient supply to various warehouses and distribution centers. * Manage strategic and operational procurement, guaranteeing quality, costs, and delivery timelines. * Lead, coordinate, and develop a team of 11–20 people. * Negotiate commercial agreements and framework contracts with national and international suppliers. * Analyze consumption patterns, stock requirements, and purchase forecasts to optimize product availability. * Identify cost-saving opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and supply processes. * Evaluate and approve strategic suppliers. * Collaborate closely with Logistics, Operations, Sales, and Finance departments to ensure supply chain efficiency. * Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. **What are we looking for?** ------------------ * University degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organization, or equivalent. * Proven experience leading procurement departments in industrial, logistics, or wholesale distribution environments. * Solid knowledge of procurement management, supply planning, inventory control, and supply chain management. * Experience in team leadership and development. * Strategic, analytical, and results-oriented profile. * Strong negotiation and influencing skills. * Proficient use of ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools. * Fluent German and Spanish, plus a good command of English. **What does our client offer?** -------------------------------- * Permanent contract and stable project. * Direct reporting line to General Management. * Strategic position with a high degree of autonomy and decision-making authority. * Management of an established team. * Flexible working hours. * Intensive morning on-site work schedule. * Continuous training and real opportunities for professional development. * Opportunity to join a solid and growing company in the wholesale distribution and marketing sector.
