Description

The fischer PowerFast II FPF II CTF BC 4.0x25 is a blue-passivated galvanized screw with full thread and TX 20 drive. The electro-galvanization contains no hexavalent chromium and is therefore highly environmentally friendly. Full-thread screws are recommended for fastening thin components and in less dense wood-based materials (e.g., softwoods). The countersunk screw can be flush-mounted with the wood surface. The PowerFast II with high-performance wax coating reduces screwdriving torque and also allows screwing close to edges without any issues. The particleboard screw exhibits significantly reduced pull-through behavior compared to other commercially available screws. The PowerFast II particleboard screw is suitable for fastening load-bearing components in solid wood, glued laminated timber, wood-based panels, and for wood-to-wood connections or metal-to-wood connections, such as metal fittings, angles, beam shoes, and other metal-and-wood connections.
