We are a telecommunications company with a strong presence in southern Spain. We are seeking new colleagues to join our IT Data Center team in Málaga. We are looking for a versatile Data Center / IT Technician with solid experience in systems and network administration, including configuration, maintenance, and support. The selected candidate will work on the implementation and maintenance of critical equipment such as OLTs, switches, optical connections (ODF), **servers and virtualization environments, storage systems, and backup solutions**, as well as IT system services. If you are eager to keep learning, curious, and ready to grow professionally within one of the most robust local telecommunications groups, join our team and become part of our success! **Key Responsibilities:** * Configuration, installation, and maintenance of OLTs, switches, and optical network connections (ODF–Switch–OLT) (Data Centers and Offices). * Monitoring and management of ONTs for customers. * Storage (SAN) administration: RAID configuration, LUN/datastore provisioning, snapshots, and replication. * Server administration and virtualization (VMware, Proxmox or others): advanced-level installation, configuration, and maintenance. * Core network services management: DNS, DHCP, VLANs, subnetting, NAT/ACLs, and Active Directory/GPOs. * Backup and disaster recovery management (Veeam) and periodic backup verification. * Security policy implementation: server hardening, patch and SSL/TLS certificate management. * Advanced system administration and monitoring (Zabbix or others): alert and dashboard configuration. * Technical support and configuration of office productivity systems (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.) and basic IT tools. * Virtual PBX (VoIP) administration. * Remote and on-site resolution of technical incidents. * Technical documentation and updating of network diagrams. **Requirements:** * 5 years of experience in similar roles, ideally in systems and/or network administration. * Higher Vocational Training qualification in Telecommunications or Computer Science. * Valid driver’s license. * Residence in Málaga or surrounding areas. **We Offer:** * Indefinite full-time contract. * Hybrid position (Tuesdays remote). * Corporate benefit: Flexible compensation. * Continuous training. * Opportunity to join a company undergoing rapid growth. **We commit to fostering an inclusive environment where all individuals feel valued and respected, ensuring equal treatment and opportunities throughout our recruitment processes.
