Position Summary: Develop commercial presence in Barcelona, positioning the company in the construction sector with bid bonds and guarantee solutions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Active prospecting and portfolio management with technical advisory. 2. Representation at industry events to strengthen the contact network. 3. Autonomy and individual responsibility in territory management. The position focuses on expanding the company's commercial presence in the Barcelona metropolitan area, positioning it as the preferred partner for construction companies, developers, and other entities requiring bonding and technical guarantee solutions. The primary objective is to provide project security and financial solvency through bid bond and guarantee products. Responsibilities include active prospecting to acquire new accounts, managing and retaining the current portfolio with technical advisory, and representing the company at industry events, chambers of commerce, and business associations to strengthen the contact network. Collaboration with the underwriting department is also required to assess risks and present viable transactions, as well as tracking objectives via the CRM and analyzing local competition. We seek a dynamic commercial professional with a solid network of contacts in Catalonia and sales experience. The candidate must be autonomous, possess strong negotiation skills and results orientation, and be adept at navigating the local business landscape. The role emphasizes autonomy and individual responsibility in territory management. A minimum of 3–5 years of B2B sales experience is required, preferably in the insurance, financial, or surety sectors. Residency in Barcelona and in-depth knowledge of the Catalan business ecosystem are mandatory. Excellent negotiation skills, strong results orientation, and a high degree of autonomy are essential. Full proficiency in both Spanish and Catalan is required.
