




Job Summary: We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the strategic management of raw material procurement in a metallurgical company, optimizing the process and ensuring efficient supply. An industrial company in the metallurgical sector is looking to hire a Procurement Manager to lead the strategic management of the group's raw material procurement. Manage and optimize the group's procurement process, ensuring efficient and continuous supply of strategic raw materials — primarily copper and aluminum — under optimal cost, quality, and delivery conditions, thereby contributing to the organization’s competitiveness, sustainability, and production continuity. Planning and management of industrial raw material procurement (copper, aluminum, and other materials). Management of procurement hedging and associated monthly reporting. Negotiation with national and international strategic suppliers. Supplier selection, evaluation, and qualification. Market monitoring and raw material cost analysis. Cross-functional coordination with Production, Finance, and Logistics. Inventory and stock level control and optimization. Leadership and coordination of the group's procurement team. Management of quality, quantity, or delivery schedule incidents. Promotion of continuous improvement and sustainable practices across the supply chain * Experience: 3 years. Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in procurement roles within an industrial environment. Experience in the metallurgical sector or industrial raw material procurement is highly valued. Technical knowledge: Industrial procurement and supplier negotiation. Knowledge of copper, aluminum, or other metals markets. Cost and commercial terms analysis. Stock and inventory management. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel. Basic knowledge of contractual, quality, and sustainability regulations. * UNIVERSITY DEGREE * English (Advanced spoken, Advanced written) * Spanish (Advanced spoken, Advanced written) * Catalan (Intermediate spoken, Intermediate written) * Competencies / Knowledge: University degree in Engineering, Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, or related field.
