




Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to drive sales in Catalonia by advising customers and promoting energy storage solutions. Key Highlights: 1. This position will focus primarily on our motive power applications, including forklifts and hydraulic equipment, rail equipment, mining equipment, and airline ground support equipment. Whenever motive power is required, EnerSys delivers the perfect energy solution. **Job Responsibilities:** ----------------------------- \#LI\-Hybrid The Technical Sales Manager will contribute to sales growth in the Catalonia region by promoting company products and advising customers with the best available mix of solutions. This objective will be achieved both with the existing customer portfolio and through new opportunities identified in the target market.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** ------------------------------------------- * Manages the full sales process, including advisory support, promotion, and sale of products and services, supporting customers during pre-sales, responding to inquiries, and maintaining trusted relationships during after-sales. * Focuses on prospect research and analysis in cooperation with the local team, as well as retention of already-acquired customers, aligned with assigned individual and corporate goals. * Regularly plans a visit schedule, balancing company strategies and needs with customer requirements. Prepares up-to-date reports containing market information, business opportunities, and commercial activity, shared with Sales Management. * Manages end customers and forklift dealership partners within the assigned sales territory, reporting directly to Sales Management. * Tracks customers throughout the entire process, from product presentation to commercial proposal definition. Promotes continuous product and system upgrades, as well as training activities. Monitors order flow, production, and delivery timelines. * Interacts directly with Inside Sales by submitting orders and issuing technical and commercial instructions, up to formal order authorization. Communicates to Inside Sales guidelines for preparing customer quotations, defining commercial terms, and creating price lists and specific offers. * Implements company-defined Sales Policies established by Management. * Collaborates and coordinates with the Service Department to execute necessary interventions and actions to resolve various technical issues raised by customers. Provides technical advisory support to customers as a battery specialist. * Verifies and monitors customer creditworthiness in coordination with the Credit Department. * Competently uses specific sales tools and software (e.g., Salesforce). * Requires availability to travel within the Catalonia region and occasionally within Spain and abroad, including overnight stays away from the primary residence. **Qualifications:** ------------------- * Vocational training in commercial fields; equivalent experience will be considered. * More than 5 years of experience in commercial roles, ideally involving field work. * Fluent Catalan and Spanish; good English proficiency or strong motivation to develop it. * Experience marketing technical equipment is considered a plus. * Proficiency in Microsoft 365; Salesforce experience is valued.
