As a Fragrance Development Intern, you will support our Fragrance Development Managers (FDMs) in bringing innovative concepts to life while gaining hands\-on experience in a dynamic and international environment.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to market trends, product development processes, and to develop a basic understanding of fragrances and olfactory evaluation.
**Your Role**
***The expected start date for this internship is October 2026\. Please note that it is mandatory to be able to sign an internship agreement with your university.***
* Support Fragrance Development Managers in their daily activities and project follow\-up
* Assist in managing and updating the market products database (global and regional launches)
* Maintain and organize the market products room (fridge), ensuring proper registration and tracking
* Organize and coordinate smelling sessions with marketing and creation teams
* Prepare olfactive sessions (materials, samples, logistics)
* Follow up on internal and external sample and product orders
* Organize materials, including fragrance samples and market products (classification, storage, and tracking)
* Support inventory management and keep tracking tools (Excel) up to date
* Raise application sample orders for internal evaluation and external shipments (SAP)
* Assist in the preparation of olfactory descriptions using PowerPoint
* Maintain the fragrance library in line with Symrise corporate guidelines and market needs
* Provide support in the laboratory when required
* Assist with packaging and shipment tasks
**About you**
* Student currently enrolled in a university degree or any academic background with interest in fragrances.
* Availability for a part\-time or full time internship under a university agreement.
* Minimum level of English required
* Strong interest in the fragrance, cosmetics, or FMCG industry (no prior experience in fragrances is required)
* Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
* Organized, proactive, and detail\-oriented
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Curious, hands\-on, and eager to learn
