Grupo Planeta is currently looking for an **Academic Advisor** for our university UNIE, part of the Planeta Formación y Universidades division. Your mission will be to guarantee a comprehensive and satisfying university experience for each student, offering personalized guidance and continuous support throughout their academic journey. This role is essential for strengthening the relationship between students and the institution, ensuring their well-being, adaptation, and academic success. What would your main responsibilities be? * Listening to and understanding each student’s individual needs, offering effective and empathetic solutions. * Addressing and resolving issues related to the student experience, serving as a trusted point of contact. * Providing personalized support both by phone and in person, ensuring close and effective communication. * Actively participating in institutional events such as Welcome Days, Networking Days, Open House Days, and other activities aimed at student integration and retention. * Coordinating and channeling internal resources (academic, administrative, technological, and wellbeing) to deliver effective solutions. * Promoting inclusion and diversity, ensuring a safe and respectful environment. * Supporting personal and academic development by advising on time management, study techniques, and use of digital tools. * Facilitating communication between students and various university departments, ensuring agile and close support. What would we like to see in your CV? * Academic background: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Pedagogy, Education, Social Work, or related fields. * Experience: At least 1 year in student support, academic advising, incident management, or similar roles within educational settings. * Languages: English at B2 level or higher (mandatory) to support international students and participate in bilingual events. * Digital competencies: Proficiency in academic management tools, virtual platforms, and communication applications. * Availability: For telephone and in-person support, as well as participation in institutional events (Welcome Days, Networking Days, Open House Days).
