We are seeking a **Clinical Simulation Technician** for full-time employment during the afternoon shift (**13:30\-21:00h**) at the **Hospital Universitario de Simulación Clínica** (HUSC), through **CEU San Pablo University**. **Job Responsibilities:** * Prepare, set up, operate, and dismantle clinical simulation scenarios according to scenario briefing documents and teaching schedules. * Program and operate high-, medium-, and low-fidelity simulators. * Operate audiovisual systems for recording, control, and debriefing; ensure availability of recordings and their processing in compliance with data protection regulations. * Provide technical support to faculty during simulation sessions. * Perform first-level preventive and corrective maintenance of clinical and simulation equipment; manage incidents and coordinate with vendors and technical service providers. * Manage inventory: stock control, expiry date tracking, ordering, and replenishment of consumables and simulation materials. * Prepare real clinical equipment used in teaching (monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps, crash carts, airway management tools, and vascular access devices). * Collaborate in developing and updating teaching materials and moulage, as well as continuously improving the center’s technical procedures. * Ensure order, cleanliness, safety, and traceability of all equipment across HUSC units. **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree or Higher/Intermediate Vocational Training qualification in Health Sciences **Desirable Qualifications** * Specialized training in clinical simulation (e.g., instructor, simulator operator/technician, or moulage courses). * Training in teaching methodology, patient safety, or healthcare management. * Complementary technical training: audiovisual systems, computer science, electronics, or 3D printing. **Required Experience** * Prior experience in clinical simulation centers or units * Proficiency in operating high-fidelity simulators and audiovisual/debriefing systems * Clinical experience in emergency departments, ICUs, or operating rooms * Experience delivering practical university-level teaching; managing inventory and clinical equipment **Competencies and Skills:** * Technical competence and ability to rapidly resolve problems in real-time teaching environments. * Autonomy and responsibility (afternoon shift with non-continuous supervision). * Teamwork and collaboration with faculty from diverse academic disciplines. * Communication skills, discretion, and professional conduct when interacting with students. * Flexibility, versatility, and adaptability to periods of high activity. * Initiative, continuous learning, and affinity with pedagogical and technological innovation.
