The AFANIAS family association was founded in 1964 and works daily to become a leading organization in the field of intellectual disability, with social presence and influence, facilitating the autonomy and quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families, while responding to the life cycle needs of these individuals.
In this context, we are recruiting for the position of VOCATIONAL TRAINING COORDINATOR at our COFOIL AFANIAS POZUELO center.
The mission of this position is to support users in their process of social integration by designing and implementing individualized intervention actions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist users with disabilities in overcoming barriers, obstacles, or difficulties that may hinder their holistic development, ensuring their continued participation and progress.
Identify users’ needs and determine the individual support measures required; apply appropriate support measures for each user.
Mediation and follow-up of all actions established to improve and strengthen users’ social integration and labor stability.
Develop any necessary training programs to facilitate users’ adaptation to and integration into social and working life.
Development of socio-labor skills: Promote and enhance the autonomy and independence of users with disabilities, particularly in carrying out their tasks.
Detect, intervene in, and report possible progressive deterioration processes affecting users with disabilities, with the aim of preventing and/or mitigating their effects.
Collaborate with technical teams in developing individual and collective programming plans required by users of our social centers.
Report to the supervisor any observed incidents that may compromise human dignity or violate the ethical values upheld by our association.
WORK SCHEDULE: MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 10:00–17:30
START DATE: SEPTEMBER 2026
QUALIFICATIONS: Social Integration Technician / Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in social fields (e.g., Psychology, Pedagogy, Social Education, etc.).
At least one year of relevant experience in similar roles, including active support, cognitive accessibility, and new technologies.
Customer-oriented and service-minded individual, skilled in person-centered planning, teamwork, and organizational capacity.
Positive and constructive attitude.
High work capacity, demonstrating proactivity and autonomy.
Social sensitivity and commitment to social causes, especially those related to disability.
Driving license B1 and willingness to drive a van are desirable.
