Your role: The primary responsibility of the **Data Engineer Specialist (Ground Operations)** position will be to design, develop, and evolve critical data applications and processes tied to Iberia’s daily operations, ensuring the availability, quality, traceability, and reliability of information in both batch and real\-time environments. This position aims to build and maintain robust data solutions supporting the company’s key operational processes, ensuring stable production operation and enabling the evolution of advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence capabilities applied to the business. Your challenges: * Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and applications tailored to critical and operational environments. * Build and evolve batch and real\-time processes, guaranteeing quality, traceability, and robustness. * Collaborate with business areas and technical teams to understand operational and functional requirements and translate them into robust, scalable data solutions. * Work end\-to\-end—from functional understanding and technical design through to production deployment and support of implemented solutions. * Collaborate with Data, AI, and Architecture teams on information visualization projects and AI/GenAI initiatives. Responsible for managing catering suppliers at the global level. Your knowledge: * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field. * Over 2 years of experience in Data Engineer, Backend Engineer, or similar roles focused on real\-time data projects.\- Experience working with production processes and applications, including support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution. * Solid expertise in data processing and transformation (advanced SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, and similar tools). * Experience with batch and real\-time architectures. * Ability to analyze complex problems and perform deep technical investigation to identify root causes. * Prior experience participating in advanced analytics or AI projects applied to business processes is desirable.
