**Wire Cutting Operator (EDM / Metal Wire Cutting)** Location: Parla (Madrid) Contract type: Full-time, on-site **Main responsibilities:** * Set up, calibrate and adjust the conductive wire for wire cutting machines. * Basic equipment programming (cutting parameters: speed, tension, depth, etc.). * Reading and interpreting technical drawings to determine cutting specifications. * Monitoring the cutting process, ensuring tolerances, surface quality and proper finishes. * Performing basic preventive maintenance tasks on the machine: cleaning, filter changes, minor lubrication. * Detecting and correcting defects or deviations during the process. * Coordinating with other production areas for delivery and/or post-processing of cut parts. **Requirements:** * Minimum 1\-2 years of experience in wire cutting (EDM or similar system). * Training in metallurgy, vocational training in production, machining, or equivalent technical qualification. * Ability to interpret drawings and work with mechanical precision. * Skill in working with quality standards and safety measures (PPE, machine protection, etc.). * Responsible person with good concentration, attention to detail, and discipline. **Desirable:** * Experience with CNC machines related to wire cutting or other precise cutting systems. * Basic knowledge of machine maintenance.
