Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced technical illustrator to produce technical illustrations for aircraft, engine, and support equipment manuals, providing technical advice and coordinating with other teams. Proficiency in technical illustration systems (Isodraw, CAD) From the P\&PD Engineering Department, we are selecting a technical illustrator with experience to work for a major aerospace client in Madrid. Main responsibilities will include: * Production of technical illustrations for various types of aircraft, engine, and associated support equipment technical manuals, including: * Operation * Maintenance * Repair * Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC) * Preparation of technical illustrations for Initial Provisioning Lists (IPL). * Development of technical illustrations for inspection and repair instructions. * Verification and validation of illustrations according to established style guides. * Technical advice to writers and other departmental illustrators. * Coordination with various internal and external departments for integration into workflows and ongoing projects. Offered: * Permanent contract * Hybrid work model * Academic qualification: Draftsperson (preferably mechanical engineering background) or equivalent higher education degree. * Intermediate-to-advanced level of English, both spoken and written. * Knowledge of product technology (aircraft, aviation engines, associated systems and equipment). * Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a technical illustrator is desirable. * Proficiency in the Isodraw technical illustration system. * Knowledge of CAD systems (UniGraphics, CADDS 5, CATIA). * Experience using electronic mock-ups in UniGraphics, CADDS, or CATIA, as well as generating 2D views in CGM format. * Familiarity with the source technical data configuration control process (SDM). * Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
