**Job Mission** Ensure the operationality, safety, and full availability of industrial machinery through diagnosis, maintenance, and optimization of systems integrating automation, industrial networks, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanics. This role does not merely repair: it anticipates, redesigns, and improves systems to maximize productivity and minimize operational costs. **Key Responsibilities** **1. Automation and Control** * Advanced programming, commissioning, and diagnostics of PLCs (Siemens, Omron, Schneider, or equivalents). * Commissioning and optimization of control loops, sensors, actuators, and HMIs. **2. Industrial Networks** * Configuration and maintenance of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus TCP/RTU). * Diagnosis of communication failures, network traffic analysis, and resolution of network bottlenecks. * Implementation of resilient and secure network topologies. **3. Electromechanical Maintenance** * Diagnosis and repair of electrical systems, motors, variable frequency drives, contactors, and control cabinets. * Preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical components: transmission systems, gears, guiding systems, etc. * Reading and interpretation of electrical and mechanical schematics. **4. Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems** * Maintenance and calibration of pumps, cylinders, valves, manifolds, and pressure circuits. * Diagnosis of leaks, pressure loss, flow rate issues, and actuator failures. * Optimization of energy consumption and circuit redesign when necessary. **5. Safety, Reliability, and Continuous Improvement** * Failure analysis using methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis. * Proposal and implementation of technical improvements to increase machine availability. * Technical documentation, development of standards, and knowledge transfer to the team. **Candidate Requirements** * Education * Technical Engineering degree or Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior) in Automation, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, or Mechatronics. Experience * 3–5 years in an industrial environment with automated machinery. * Demonstrated experience in PLCs, industrial networks, and hydraulic/electromechanical maintenance. **Technical Competencies** * Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeter, clamp meter, basic oscilloscope, network analyzers). * Ability to work on systems operating under pressure, at high temperatures, or under stringent safety requirements. * Knowledge of industrial regulations (machinery, low voltage, safety). **Personal Competencies** * Solid technical judgment and ability to prioritize critical tasks. * Structured thinking and a focus on definitive solutions—not temporary fixes. * Capability to redesign solutions, not just maintain them. * Full autonomy and results orientation.
