Due to significant growth in the Energy sector | WSP, we are seeking to strengthen the capabilities of our Transmission Networks | WSP team in **Madrid or Valladolid**, by hiring a **Manager**.
You will join a multidisciplinary team that embodies our company’s core values: solidarity, passion for complex and large-scale projects, and a spirit of innovation and cordiality.
**What is the role?**
We aim to hire a Manager to lead the development of strategic relationships with electrical contractors, with the goal of generating new business opportunities—particularly during the detailed engineering phase following basic engineering.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the technical management of high- and medium-voltage construction engineering projects, drawing on solid experience in design, supervision, and execution.
**Your new role—what does it entail?**
Key responsibilities include: identifying and generating business opportunities with EPC contractors and electrical construction companies; establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with leading contractors in infrastructure projects; participating in technical and commercial meetings to present the company’s capabilities and identify new opportunities; collaborating with the commercial team in preparing technical proposals and bids; representing the company at industry fairs, sector events, and visits to key clients; identifying market needs and proposing tailored technical solutions; coordinating and supervising detailed engineering development for high- and medium-voltage projects; ensuring technical quality of deliverables and compliance with applicable regulations (REBT, IEC, IEEE); and providing technical support to the construction and supervision teams during project execution.
**What are we looking for?**
We seek a candidate holding an Industrial Engineering degree plus a Master’s specialization in Electricity, or a Technical Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree, with over 15 years’ experience in high- and medium-voltage projects; solid knowledge of electrical line, substation, and transformer station design; expertise in applicable technical standards: REBT, IEC, IEEE, UNE; proficiency with technical software: AutoCAD, ETAP, DIgSILENT (BIM experience is valued); experience managing projects using tools such as MS Project, ERP systems, and collaborative platforms; and a C1 level of English.
