We are part of **VULCAIN ENGINEERING**, an international French engineering group with a multisectoral focus, operating across key areas of **infrastructure** and **energy.** We are currently seeking a **Senior Industrial Utilities Engineer (Black Utilities)** responsible for the design and development of industrial plant utility systems, actively participating in projects executed under an **EPCM** (**Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management**) environment. Location: **Madrid** **Key Responsibilities:** * Design and develop industrial utility systems, primarily related to generation and distribution of: steam, hot/cold water, compressed air, industrial gases, refrigeration systems, etc. * Participate in all project phases—from conceptual studies and basic engineering through to detailed engineering. * Define design criteria and bases for utility systems, performing corresponding balances, consumption estimates, and service requirements assessments. * Perform sizing and technical selection of equipment, piping networks, and associated auxiliary systems. * Prepare and review project technical documentation. * Coordinate technical solutions with various engineering disciplines, ensuring proper integration with process systems and other project installations. * Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and multidisciplinary coordination processes. * Provide technical support during construction phases, resolving queries and issues related to design and installation execution. **Requirements:** * University degree in **Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields**. * Minimum **7 years' prior experience** in designing and developing industrial utility systems, preferably within engineering environments, **Process Industry**, **Oil \& Gas**, or **Pharmaceutical** sectors. * Experience with projects executed under **EPCM** methodologies or environments, and across various engineering project phases: conceptual, basic, and detailed. * Experience preparing and reviewing engineering technical documentation, including P\&IDs, technical specifications, data sheets, layouts, and procurement/construction documentation. * Organized, solution-oriented, and analytically capable individual, accustomed to working in multidisciplinary environments and managing multiple technical requirements simultaneously within a project. * Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills. * Professional-level English proficiency. ###### **Discover Our Benefits!** * Permanent employment contract. * Salary commensurate with your experience. * Professional development and job stability. * Flexible working hours and hybrid work arrangements per company policy. * Join a group undergoing active expansion. **Join our team and advance your professional career by contributing to high-level engineering projects!** Department Technical Support Position Specialist Engineer Locations Madrid **About Iplan Group** ------------------------- We employ over 700 professionals across Spain, combining talent, experience, and commitment.
