Job Summary: We are seeking an Integration Architect with a strong focus on design and technical decision-making to define and evolve integration architectures within an international People-Tech/HR environment. Advanced technical environment (API-first, event-driven, cloud) At **IT Partner España**, we are looking for an **Integration Architect** with a strong orientation toward design and technical decision-making to join an international team in the **People\-Tech / HR** domain. This role focuses on **architecture (not pure implementation)**, where you will have direct impact on defining patterns, standards, and governance for enterprise-scale integrations. You will work closely with global teams (Product, Platform, Workday, Security, Data Governance) in a fully collaborative, English-speaking environment. What will be your mission? You will be responsible for **defining and evolving the integration architecture**, ensuring scalable, secure solutions aligned with global standards. ️ Key Responsibilities * Design integration architecture on **MuleSoft Anypoint Platform**. * Define **API\-first (OpenAPI 3\.x)** and **event\-driven (AsyncAPI 2\.x)** patterns. * Lead end\-to\-end integrations technically (from discovery to production). * Make key architectural decisions: synchronous vs asynchronous, orchestration vs choreography, etc. * Design asynchronous flows with **Kafka** and apply advanced patterns: * Saga (orchestration/choreography) * Outbox * Idempotency * Dead\-letter queues * Establish standards for: * API governance * Observability * Security (GDPR, PII) * Document architecture using: * ADRs * C4 / ArchiMate diagrams * RACI models * Collaborate with international teams and facilitate technical decisions. * Mentor technical profiles on integration best practices. Essential Requirements * \+7 years in enterprise integration / architecture / iPaaS. * \+4 years with **MuleSoft Anypoint Platform in production**. * Real-world experience with **Apache Kafka** in production environments. * Proven experience as an **architect (not just a senior developer)**.
