




Job Summary: We are seeking a Lead PMO with experience in IT projects to lead strategic initiatives in an Agile environment, designing and evolving the project governance model. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead strategic initiatives in an Agile environment. 2. Design and evolve the project and service governance model. 3. Act as a methodological reference and best practices advocate. Our **Project Manager Community** continues to grow, and we need to bring on board a **Lead PMO with experience in IT projects**, to lead multiple strategic initiatives in parallel within an Agile environment and in **hybrid format (offices in Alcobendas)**. **What will you do?** * Design and evolve the project and service governance model, aligned with the organization’s strategy and context. * Define and maintain policies, standards, methodological frameworks, and assurance criteria, ensuring effective adoption. * Lead the development of the PMO’s MVP and its progressive evolution over time. * Support and train Project / Service Managers, acting as methodological and best practices references. * Conduct advanced-level roundtrips and walkthroughs, evaluating projects and services from an integrated perspective: governance, delivery, risks, dependencies, and artifact quality. * Drive control, assurance, and continuous improvement mechanisms, promoting proactive, data-driven decision-making. * Actively participate in governance, portfolio, and prioritization committees, providing expert judgment. **What do you need for this role?** Formal education in Computer Science or Telecommunications. Prior experience in designing and deploying PMOs. 7 years of experience at the Project or Service Manager level. 10 years of experience in IT, preferably having held technical roles prior to moving into management (e.g., developer, architect, DBA, systems technician, or similar). Predictive frameworks (e.g., waterfall). Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). IT service management standards and best practices (e.g., PMBOK, ITIL). Software product lifecycle. Financial management of projects and services.
