**CAD/Revit \- Drafter/Architect/Engineer (REMOTE) – Global BMU** Full\-time, Employee Remote (occasional travel for team events) **About Global BMU** Global BMU is specializing in facade access systems, headquartered in New York City. We offer comprehensive solutions related to **Building Maintenance Units (BMUs)**, which are facade access systems and window cleaning scaffolding. The range of services includes: * **Consultation, planning, and engineering** of facade access systems. * **Installation and replacement** of equipment, ranging from light davits to complex telescopic booms and monorails. * **Maintenance, repair, and inspection**, to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards (e.g., NYSDOL regulations). * **Project management** and coordination, including working with general contractors, architects, and building owners. **Job Summary** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and experienced CAD/Revit Drafter to join our in\-house design team. You will be instrumental in preparing engineering and building drawings as well as sketches into accurate, professional\-grade technical drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit software. This role requires a high level of precision and the ability to work closely with engineers and architects throughout the project lifecycle. **Key Responsibilities** * Create, revise, and manage detailed 2D and 3D models and blueprints using AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit software. * Translate engineers' and architects' sketches, specifications, and calculations into working construction drawings. * Ensure all drawings are compliant with relevant industry standards, building codes, and company drafting standards. (Training will be provided here) * Collaborate with the project team to understand design intent and provide accurate documentation, actively participating in team meetings and project reviews. * Perform quality control checks on own work and assist with checking team members' drawings for accuracy and completeness. * Manage drawing revisions, issue drawing sets, and maintain an organized project file structure. * Assist in creating visual aids such as renderings and presentations to support client communication. **Required Qualifications \& Skills** * Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. * Associate’s degree or technical certification in Computer\-Aided Design (CAD), drafting, or a related field. * 3\+ years of professional experience in drafting for architectural, structural, or mechanical projects. * High proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit is mandatory. * Strong understanding of architectural/engineering principles, building codes, and construction terminology. * Experience with Bluebeam Revu or similar PDF markup software is a plus. * Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with complex data. * Strong written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to collaborate within a team environment. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively. **Benefits** * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Paid vacation and sick leave, plus national holidays. * Opportunities for professional development and software training certifications. * Stable work environment with a consistent pipeline of exciting projects.
