Professional development and growth opportunities We are looking for a candidate for the **Network Technician with Cybersecurity Experience** role. **Our Mission?** To lead enterprises’ transition to the cloud, building a safer, more efficient, and sustainable digital world—supporting our customers in reducing their technological costs and risks. **What will be your mission as a Network Technician?** ------------------------------------------------- Reporting directly to the Network Architecture Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and direct communication between customers’ local networks and the Cloud.gal network. You will contribute to protecting computer systems, networks, and data against attacks, unauthorized access, and potential damage. **What will be your responsibilities?** -------------------------------- Your work will include implementing security measures, monitoring systems, responding to incidents, and preventing future threats. * **Assess the customer’s infrastructure** (identify their internet service provider, installed equipment, perform network scanning, take photos of the server cabinet, router connections, etc.). * **Plan with the customer** the service downtime required to establish connectivity with Cloud.gal services. * **Install necessary network hardware** (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points, etc.). * **Advise the customer on possible improvements** or changes related to network architecture (e.g., network cabling or others). * **Resolve any access issues** encountered by the customer when connecting to the Cloud.gal service. **Requirements for the Network Technician Position** ----------------------------------------------- * Higher vocational training in Systems Administration, Computer Systems and Telecommunications, or equivalent. * Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience in the duties described. * Knowledge of **network infrastructure**: subnet configuration, VLANs, installation and maintenance of switches, routers, and firewalls. * Experience in **network security**: VPNs, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems. * General knowledge of **cybersecurity**: threat and vulnerability identification, as well as cloud services. * Preferred qualifications: FORTINET certification (NS4 or higher), CISCO (CCNA Security), or certifications from other firewall vendors (Palo Alto, Juniper, SonicWall, etc.). **What do we offer?** ------------------- Indefinite-term contract with immediate incorporation.
