Madrid, Spain \| Full time \| Hybrid \| R1550143 **Internship Clinical Coding** At **IQVIA**, the **Healthcare** team works with hospitals and public health administrations on improvement, innovation, and transformation initiatives, combining data analytics, organizational expertise, and extensive industry experience—and is now seeking an intern eager to learn and launch their career in the healthcare sector! **Responsibilities**: * Code clinical episodes using the ICD-10 classification, ensuring data accuracy and quality. * Review and validate coded information, guaranteeing its consistency and reliability. * Support hospitals’ inquiries regarding clinical data, performance indicators, and use of digital platforms. * Assist in basic analysis of clinical and operational data, identifying relevant patterns and trends. * Help prepare reports, presentations, and other deliverables for clients and internal teams. * Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (clinical, analytical, and managerial). **Requirements**: * Minimum qualification: Higher Technician in Clinical Coding (ICD-10) or equivalent training. * Prior experience in clinical coding (internships and early-career experience will be valued). * Interest in clinical coding and motivation to develop a broader, data- and healthcare-management-oriented perspective. * Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. * Good command of English. * Organized, flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn. * Ability to work effectively in teams and dynamic environments. **IQVIA Culture**: Exposure to real-world projects impacting healthcare system management and transformation.
