This role will focus on **building, maintaining, and executing automated test solutions** that support our engineering teams. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to help ensure high\-quality, scalable software delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid automation experience who is looking to deepen their technical expertise and grow towards a senior or specialist role. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Design, develop, and maintain **automated test suites** across multiple systems and services * Contribute to the **evolution of test automation frameworks** and tooling * Execute automated and manual tests as required to validate features and releases * Investigate and troubleshoot **test failures**, identifying root causes and working with engineering teams on fixes * Collaborate with developers to ensure **testability and quality are embedded early** in the development lifecycle * Support integration of automated testing into **CI/CD pipelines** * Contribute to **quality metrics and reporting**, helping improve visibility of test outcomes * Ensure best practices in test automation are followed across the team * Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives **Experience \& Skills** ------------------------ * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline * **3–5 years’ experience** in software testing or test automation * Hands\-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar) * Experience working with programming languages including .Net/C\#/C\+\+ * Performance Testing experience, including Load and Stress testing * Understanding of **API testing and test automation strategies** * Experience working within **Agile / Scrum environments** * Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) * Strong debugging and problem\-solving skills * Good communication and collaboration skills **Nice to Have** ---------------- * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) * Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) * Exposure to performance or security testing tools * Familiarity with telecoms, IoT, or connected device ecosystems *New hires at* Cubic³ *are required to work onsite five days a week during their six\-month probation period to get to know the company, their team, and our ways of working. After probation, we offer a flexible arrangement of up to eight work\-from\-home days per month, provided it aligns with business needs and performance standards.
