SUBSTATION MANAGER IN ALCAÑIZ** **Description and Requirements:** If you are looking for a new professional challenge, we are seeking an **“SSEE\-PROTEC\-TELEC. Manager”** to join our **SUBSTATIONS TEAM IN ALCAÑIZ (TERUEL).** **Who will you work with?** You will join the Substations unit in Alcañiz (Teruel). The main tasks carried out in this area are as follows: * Manage maintenance, local operation, and exploitation of the grid, complying with legal obligations, substation installations, and automation systems. * Monitor and manage the budget assigned to Substations for the area. * Plan, monitor, and ensure proper execution and comprehensive management of works and tasks defined in the budget, as well as those arising from NNSS, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. * Ensure correct technical and legal acceptance of constructed facilities and those transferred by third parties. * Manage internal resources, contractors, and materials dedicated to grid maintenance works and tasks. * Manage resolution of faults, incidents, and emergency situations in its facilities; report such events to Local Authorities. You will join a weekly on-call rotation, requiring periodic 24-hour availability to respond to faults. * Apply and coordinate with other units and public or private entities specific protocols and agreements related to service delivery (Emergency Plans, Special Plans, Contingency Plans). **What will your responsibilities be?** In this role, your primary activities will include: * Collaborating as part of a team. * Managing faults, maintenance, refurbishments, and construction works at electrical substations. * Coordinating, executing, and supervising activities related to distribution grid management within your scope of responsibility, in accordance with applicable procedures and legislation. * Managing and coordinating a team of specialized technicians reporting to you, to execute and supervise activities related to distribution grid management within your scope of responsibility. * Managing resources, materials, and contractors dedicated to distribution grid maintenance works and tasks, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards applicable to works and tasks under your management. Further details will be provided during the interview. **What are the requirements?** **Essential requirements** for this role are: * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. * **Knowledge:** MS Office Basics (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Communications tools (Teams). Knowledge of electricity and E\-Distribución procedures. Discipline-specific knowledge corresponding to the required degree. * **Competencies:** Precision. Simplification and speed. Agility and continuous improvement. **Preferred qualifications:** * **Education:** Postgraduate studies in Energy, Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy, or similar. * **Knowledge:** Database analysis tools and/or programming languages (Matlab, Python, C, R, VBA,…). Knowledge of management systems (ERP\-SAP at user level). Advanced MS Office (Access, Project).
