A well-established national company, a leader in the food and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a Commercial Coordinator to lead its operations in the Northern Region. This role offers two particularly attractive dimensions: Lead and develop a team of Point-of-Sale Managers. Directly manage regional accounts and identify new commercial opportunities. We are not looking for an office-based profile. We seek someone who enjoys being in the market—visiting customers, accompanying the team, analyzing what is happening in each area, and making decisions that directly impact sales. YOUR CHALLENGE You will be a key figure in ensuring the commercial strategy translates into excellent execution at the point of sale. You will be responsible for the Northern Region: Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, Basque Country, and Castilla y León. You will lead a team of approximately four geographically distributed professionals and collaborate closely with Key Account Managers (KAMs), regional accounts, Trade Marketing, and other commercial teams. Simultaneously, you will manage your own portfolio of regional clients within the Food Retail and Out-of-Home / Organized Hospitality channels. Your mission will be to grow the business by combining leadership, analysis, negotiation, and on-the-ground presence. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Leadership and team development Coordinate and accompany the Northern Region’s Point-of-Sale Manager team. Conduct field sales visits alongside team members. Support the team in improving productivity, execution, and results. Set priorities, objectives, and action plans. Analyze individual performance per territory. Identify development needs and strengthen commercial competencies. Ensure proper planning of routes, customers, and activities. Foster a culture of accountability, autonomy, and results orientation. Business development In addition to leading the team, you will maintain direct contact with the market. Manage and develop local and regional accounts. Negotiate commercial agreements and terms. Identify growth opportunities within existing clients. Detect new clients and expansion potential. Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Collaborate closely with KAMs and large account managers. Point-of-sale excellence You will be responsible for ensuring the commercial strategy is effectively executed. You will supervise aspects such as: Promotions. Campaign implementation. Assortment. Visibility. Planograms. Product presence. Commercial activations. Compliance with customer agreements. This is not merely about monitoring execution—it is about understanding what works, what can be improved, and where business potential lies. Analysis and KPIs You will have a highly data-driven perspective. Analyze commercial results. Track KPIs. Detect deviations. Identify opportunities. Design action plans. Monitor their impact. Share relevant insights with commercial and Trade Marketing teams. WHAT PROFILE ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We would like to meet professionals with experience in sectors such as: Food retail FMCG Retail Distribution Foodservice Out-of-Home / Organized Hospitality Commercial experience—and prior responsibility for people or geographically dispersed teams—will be especially important. We seek a candidate who brings: Minimum 4 years of professional experience in commercial roles. Experience coordinating, leading, or developing commercial or point-of-sale teams. Ability to manage remote teams while maintaining strong on-the-ground presence. Experience analyzing commercial KPIs. Ability to convert data into actionable plans. Strong negotiation skills.
