Job Summary: We are seeking a nurse to provide comprehensive care and health monitoring for elderly residents in a care facility, administer medication, perform wound care, and collaborate with the care team. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive care and health monitoring for elderly people. 2. Medication administration and wound care. 3. Close collaboration with the gerocare team. In the city of Badajoz, we are looking for a professional to provide health care and monitoring for elderly people in a residential facility. Daily duties include monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, as well as supervising residents' general condition to ensure they maintain necessary hygiene standards. The role involves administering prescribed medication, performing wound care, and managing medical and pharmaceutical supplies. It also includes updating clinical records and closely collaborating with the gerocare team in direct patient care, including repositioning patients and responding to any assistance needs. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing; additional training in geriatrics is considered an advantage. This position is offered under an indefinite-term contract, full-time working hours, and remuneration aligned with the sectoral collective agreement.
