Job Summary: IDDTEK is seeking a Mechanical Designer for 3D/2D design using SolidEdge for tooling and components in the sheet metal fabrication industry, including drafting of drawings and documentation. Key Points: 1. 3D/2D mechanical design with SolidEdge for tooling and components. 2. Development of new part references and 2D sheet metal drawings. 3. Generation and management of process documentation. At IDDTEK, we aim to incorporate a Mechanical Designer into our team to develop a project within the sheet metal fabrication industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing 3D/2D mechanical design using SolidEdge, particularly for tooling and mechanical components used in industrial processes. Their responsibilities will include drafting complex drawings and generating process documentation. Responsibilities: * 3D mechanical design with SolidEdge, focusing on welding fixtures and mechanical components. * Development of new part references for quotation preparation. * Creation of 2D sheet metal development drawings. * Drafting of complex drawings using SolidEdge. * Generation and management of process documentation. * Vocational training (FP) or degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum 5 years of experience in Technical Offices. * Experience in 3D/2D design. * SolidEdge proficiency is desirable. * Ability to adapt and work collaboratively within the sheet metal fabrication industry.
