What will be your mission?
We are seeking a **Fire Extinguisher Maintenance Technician** to join our Fire Protection (PCI) team on a temporary basis.
You will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of fire protection equipment by conducting inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, complying with current regulations, and delivering excellent customer service.
Your key responsibilities
* Conduct periodic inspections of fire extinguishers, equipped fire hydrants (BIEs), and signage.
* Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
* Diagnose and repair faults in fire protection equipment and systems.
* Prepare reports and records of performed activities.
* Advise customers on the status of their installations and potential improvements.
* Identify sales opportunities for fire protection equipment and materials.
* Manage billing and documentation associated with interventions, when required.
* Strictly comply with quality, safety, environmental, and RIPCI regulatory procedures.
* Collaborate with the rest of the operations team to ensure service quality.
What are we looking for? Minimum requirements
* Compulsory secondary education (ESO) or equivalent.
* Valid Class B driver’s license.
* Basic occupational health and safety training.
* Technical knowledge of fire extinguishers and fire protection systems.
* Ability to diagnose faults and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
* Customer orientation and strong communication skills.
Especially valued
* Medium or higher vocational training in Electricity, Electronics, or related fields.
* RIPCI certification or eligibility for obtaining it.
* Prior experience in fire protection system maintenance.
* Knowledge of load handling, pressure equipment, and waste management.
* Basic first aid and fire-fighting knowledge.
