With Openpay in Spain and **operating commercially as Wipöp by BBVA**, the objective is to strengthen the acquiring business and merchant services by leveraging cutting-edge technologies already existing within BBVA and developing a differentiated product that helps our customers sell more and better. The **Wipöp Technology Area** is responsible for ensuring that the various technological tools and solutions employed meet the Company’s business objectives, aligned with BBVA Spain’s Engineering requirements. In this regard, Openpay is the most critical technology component, although other technologies are also in use at Wipöp. We seek to hire a **Data Manager within Wipöp Technology**, with over three years of demonstrable experience, who will support the Data needs across all Company departments and assume leadership responsibility for this entire function. In the medium term, this role will lead a team of up to two people to define and implement the Company’s Data policies and processes, aligned with those of BBVA Group and Openpay Global. The selected candidate will join the Company’s Technology Area and serve as the owner of the Wipöp Data platform (built on Databricks). **Responsibilities** * Lead Wipöp’s data strategy and data-related processes. * Gather data requirements from all Company departments. * Identify information sources required to generate reports. * Define provisioning, exploitation, and reporting generation processes. * Create and review policies using clear and recurring communications. * Serve as the primary point of contact on data matters for Wipöp vis-à-vis Openpay Global, BBVA Spain, and various Technology, Product, Operations, Finance, Commercial, and other departments. **About the job:** We are looking for someone eager to join a new initiative currently transitioning into a fully operational company, with a mindset oriented toward creation and continuous learning. * Over three years of experience with data platforms (information systems): architecture, design, development, and maintenance of data products, data governance, etc. * Experience generating reports, dashboards, or analytical summaries. * Knowledge of data extraction, loading, validation, and transformation processes. * Database handling (SQL). * Visualization and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). * Programming languages (Python, etc.). * Experience in payments is desirable. * Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence is desirable. * Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. * Organizational ability and teamwork orientation. * Consistency and perseverance in work. * Analytical capability and proactivity. **Skills:** Data Analytics, Data Dictionary, Data Functional Governance Model, Data Governance tools, Data Lifecycle, Data Management, Data Manager, DataOps, Operational \& Organizational Model for Data Governance
