Ros Roca S.A., a company belonging to Terberg Environmental Holding BV, dedicated to the manufacturing and marketing of waste collection equipment, is seeking to strengthen its Engineering team and therefore needs to fill the following position: ### **Electrical Design Engineer** **Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and validate electrical schematics and wiring harness systems using electrical CAD tools (Zuken E3\. series), ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing requirements for industrial vehicle or machinery projects (e.g., waste collection trucks). **️****What will you do in this role? (Not sure whether this section could be simplified somehow)** * Design of electrical, functional, and detailed schematics for power circuits, both high- and low-voltage, control, communications, etc. * Development of wiring harnesses (wiring harness) in 2D / Formboard: * + definition of connectors, terminals, protections, splices, and routing. + generation of terminal\-to\-cable lists, BOMs, control specifications, and other manufacturing documentation. * Technical validation of the design: * + electrical review (voltage drops, protections, cross-sections), + compliance with internal design standards, and + regulatory compliance with EN 60204\-1, EN 1501, etc. * Support for: * + Wiring suppliers (Derogation, Concession/Deviation, etc.) + Production / Quality (assembly, quality claims, PPAP, etc.). + Purchasing (selection/validation of alternative components). + Service (field problem resolution, retrofits). * Collaboration with mechanical engineering for wiring integration. * Definition of eBOMs (engineering bill of materials) **What are we looking for?** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering or other engineering disciplines with an electrical focus (e.g., Electrical Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, etc.) * Minimum English language proficiency (spoken and written): B1 – C2 preferred\. * Recommended experience of 3\-5 years in electrical schematic and/or wiring harness design. * Valuable experience working with industrial vehicles/mobile machinery, CAN systems, etc. * Valuable prior experience designing wiring harnesses using Zuken E3 and/or Vesys/Capital Harness, Catia Electrical, EPLAN. * Valuable prior experience with mechanical CAD solutions for 3D wiring harness design (e.g., Solid Edge Electrical, etc.) We are looking for a detail-oriented person with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as good organizational abilities. **What do we offer?** * Stable employment in an international, dynamic environment undergoing continuous technological evolution. * Competitive, performance-linked remuneration. * Attractive flexible compensation package. * Professional development support through continuous training programs to ensure optimal technical and skill-based competence.
