




Position Summary: We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer for Generators to provide technical support to customers and coordinate resources for field assistance and repairs, ensuring service quality. Joining a business with ambition to grow and improve. **We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer for Generators for our Flexible Power Generation business, where the main mission of this position will be:** Reporting to the current SAT Manager and under their training and supervision, providing technical support to customers throughout the service life of generators, from installation and commissioning onward. **Main Responsibilities** ------------------------- * Effectively and promptly support customer service regarding inquiries, complaints, and technical issues related to in-service generators. * Coordinate internal and external resources for field interventions and workshop repairs. Supervise daily information (photos, reports) and the final deliverable report. * Provide technical support to internal and subcontracted field engineers during technical assistance activities. * Collaborate with various internal departments to resolve technical inquiries and issues. * Technically, contractually, and logistically prepare technical assistance and repair activities at customer vessels/plants. * Report relevant issues to the Quality Department for root cause analysis and continuous improvement. * Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure service quality and consistency. * Support the Commercial Department in defining spare parts, service, and contract offers. * Collaborate with the Technical Office on service-related aspects for design. * Travel occasionally to customer sites for technical assistance, technical meetings, and commercial support. * Travel to supplier facilities when necessary. **Requirements** -------------- * Electrical, Electromechanical, Naval, or Industrial Engineer. Alternatively, Mechanical or Electronics/Control Engineer. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical service, engineering, or project management within an industrial equipment environment. * Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers; service-oriented mindset. * Problem-solving attitude. * Teamwork and cross-functional coordination skills to achieve objectives. * Advanced level of English. **Preferred Qualifications** --------------- * Experience working with engines and/or electric generators, with solid technical knowledge of these products and associated service, engineering, and/or manufacturing processes. * Experience in service project management. * Attention to detail. * Ability to persuasively and logically defend positions. * Basic knowledge of SAP. * Basque language proficiency. **WHAT WE OFFER** ------------- * Professional development within a prestigious major industrial/technological group. * Continuous training in all aspects of the activity. * Opportunity to join a healthy business with strong growth and improvement ambitions.
