The selected candidate will assume a dual role, combining team leadership with hands-on software development responsibilities, working closely with the Program Director for Spain. In this position, you will be responsible for **guiding and mentoring the development team**, ensuring proper definition, prioritization, and review of the backlog based on requirements provided by business analysts and validated by program leadership. You will lead **sprint planning and execution**, guaranteeing smooth communication with stakeholders and providing regular updates on progress, status, issues, and project challenges. Simultaneously, you will directly contribute to software development by designing and coding **clean, efficient, and well-documented solutions**, performing thorough testing, fixing defects, and ensuring application **quality, scalability, and performance**. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead, coordinate, and mentor the development team in collaboration with the Program Director for Spain. * Define and review the backlog based on business priorities and program direction. * Plan and execute sprints, ensuring delivery of value in each iteration. * Communicate progress, outcomes, issues, and escalations clearly and promptly. * Design and develop high-quality software, adhering to architectural standards and best practices. * Perform testing, ensure defect resolution, and verify expected functionality. * Contribute to achieving performance, scalability, and maintainability goals for solutions. **Requirements** * Experience with **modern integration technologies** (JSON, REST, etc.). * Knowledge of **web portal development** using technologies such as **Angular** and **.NET/C#**. * Experience with **Java v17 or higher**. * Solid understanding of software architecture principles, scalability, and performance. * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). **Languages** * Fluent Spanish. * Fluent functional/technical English. * French is an advantage.
