Focusing on key processes such as sowing, transplanting, and marker-assisted selection, you will help identify genetically promising material with commercial potential, supporting the breeder in data collection and analysis. You will also play a crucial role in coordinating with Biotechnology, Farm, and Seed Production teams to ensure efficient and aligned execution of breeding program activities. Your work will directly impact the creation of a competitive portfolio tailored to market demands. **What will be your responsibilities?** * Collaborate with the breeder throughout all stages of the breeding program, from trial planning to hybrid validation. * Implement and coordinate the operational and logistical processes of breeding trials: sowing, transplanting, sampling, hybridization, harvesting, extraction, disinfection, and seed storage. * Plan and execute molecular marker-assisted selection to integrate key genes into elite lines. * Coordinate and monitor trials of parental lines and pre-commercial hybrids in collaboration with the breeder, development teams, and external farmers. * Collect, analyze, and input experimental data and biotechnological results into relevant platforms. * Support the organization, traceability, and maintenance of materials and documentation for the breeding program. * Supervise and carry out the increase, maintenance, and stock control of parental line seeds to ensure availability of high-quality genetic material. * Manage the logistics of sending plant materials. * Coordinate actions with multidisciplinary teams (biotechnology, farm, development, seed production) to execute breeding program activities in an integrated manner. * Supervise and manage the work of assigned operational staff to ensure compliance with standards and scheduled timelines. **We know you'll do a great job, so we've prepared these benefits for you...** * Onboarding plan and follow-up of your professional development * Access to an online training platform with a wide self-learning catalog to support continuous learning * Option to join a Flexible Compensation Plan * Others Requirements Additionally, we value the following competencies and skills: * University or vocational education in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Biology, or related fields. * Experience or strong knowledge in horticultural crops and breeding programs (desirable). * Ability to work in field and greenhouse conditions, even under demanding circumstances. * Organization, time management, and precision in data collection and recording. * Autonomy and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. * Strong analytical skills to interpret experimental data and support decision-making. * Good oral and written communication skills. * Intermediate level of English. * Proficiency in Excel. * Valid driver's license (essential).
