




Job Summary: We are seeking an Internal Auditor for Grupo Planeta, responsible for planning and executing risk-based audits, evaluating internal controls, and verifying regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Plan and execute risk-based audits. 2. Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management. 3. Participate in special projects (Due Diligence). At Grupo Planeta, we are currently looking for a person for the Corporate Division as an **Internal Auditor**. What will your day-to-day responsibilities be? * Plan and execute risk-based audits according to the Annual Audit Plan. * Conduct financial, operational, IT, and compliance audits. Review accounting processes, integrity and accuracy of financial statements. Perform audit tests, document evidence, and ensure traceability of reviewed information. Identify areas for improvement and propose recommendations to optimize operational efficiency and control effectiveness. * Develop, update, and maintain risk maps. * Evaluate the operational effectiveness of internal controls and risk management procedures. Identify deficiencies, propose improvement measures and action plans. * Verify compliance with internal, contractual, and regulatory requirements. Ensure all organizational departments and processes operate within the established internal control framework and promote a culture of compliance and sound corporate governance. * Prepare clear executive reports with conclusions and improvement-oriented recommendations. * Follow up on action plans, verifying correct implementation of agreed improvements. * Criminal and Regulatory Compliance. Management and verification of evidence. * Participate in special projects (Due Diligence). What would we like to see in your CV? * University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields. * Minimum 3\-5 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, compliance, or roles related to risk and internal control. * Knowledge of databases and data analysis tools. * English: Minimum B2\. French is a plus.
