At SOCOTEC Spain, we are seeking an Irrigation and Hydraulic Infrastructure Projects Manager to join our Hydraulic and Hydroelectric Engineering team. We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a proven track record in drafting, managing, and signing irrigation and hydraulic infrastructure projects for public bodies, irrigation communities, and administrations. The selected candidate will be technically responsible for leading strategic projects, participating in the preparation of public tenders, and contributing verifiable expertise to strengthen the company’s technical solvency in irrigation tenders both in Catalonia and across the rest of Spain. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Technical management and coordination of irrigation and hydraulic infrastructure projects. * Drafting and signing of projects for public administrations and irrigation communities. * Design and supervision of irrigation networks, pumping stations, regulation reservoirs, and hydraulic conductions. * Development and supervision of hydraulic modeling and optimization of distribution networks. * Coordination of multidisciplinary teams throughout all project phases. * Supervision of the technical quality of prepared documentation. * Participation in the preparation of bids and public tenders related to irrigation. * Liaison with clients, public administrations, and official bodies. * Technical and economic monitoring of assigned projects. **ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS** * Education: Degree in Agricultural Engineering or equivalent qualifying degree. * Minimum verifiable experience of **15 years** in irrigation and hydraulic infrastructure projects. * Demonstrable experience in managing and signing irrigation projects. * Verifiable experience in: + Irrigation networks. + Pumping stations. + Regulation reservoirs. + Hydraulic modeling. + Hydraulic infrastructure. * Ability to autonomously lead projects. * Availability for occasional travel. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Experience with contracts awarded by Infraestructures de Catalunya and ASG. * Experience with equivalent bodies in other autonomous communities. * Experience preparing technical documentation for public tenders. * Possession of certificates of satisfactory project execution. * Prior leadership of highly complex technical projects. * Experience in projects developed both in Catalonia and elsewhere in Spain. * Leadership, negotiation, and business development skills. * Knowledge of GIS, SIGOPRAM, TCQ/PRESTO **CONDITIONS** * Location: Catalonia * Contract type: Permanent. * Working hours: Full-time. **BENEFITS:** * Intensive working schedule during July and August. * Flexible working hours with expanded teleworking options depending on place of residence. * Flexible remuneration program. * 24th and 31st December off. * Birthday leave day. * Professional development within an international company.
