The dyer/colorist position requires high technical specialization in continuous dyeing processes for polyester and polyamide (pad–steam and thermosol systems), as well as chemical product dosing and handling, and quality control of finished products. This is a skilled occupation included in CNO 8154 and falls under Professional Group E of the collective agreement, corresponding to highly specialized technical profiles. Since there is no specific regulated training program for ribbon dyeing, professional competence is acquired primarily through extended hands-on experience in industrial dyeing processes.
