TRAINING TECHNICIAN

Description

From the Training Department, provides cross-cutting support to the Foundation’s three programmes. **Responsibilities:** Qualification Recognition: accompany young people through the process of recognizing foreign qualifications Educational Guidance: explore with each young person the most suitable educational pathway based on their profile and circumstances Scholarship Applications: manage and monitor scholarships (e.g., Nous Cims and others) Training Calendar: track and update course registration deadlines and start dates, including entrance exams and related preparation Partnerships and Grants: liaise with training centres to facilitate young people’s access and follow-up Grant Application and Justification: new training initiatives for individuals without NIE Research into accessible training options for undocumented youth Training-related Volunteering: identify volunteering opportunities as pathways for learning and experience (e.g., Aurea) Volunteer Support: train, assist, and monitor volunteers from the department (e.g., academic reinforcement tutors) Materials for Volunteers: support volunteers in preparing the resources they use with young people; course registration Management of pre-registration, registration, and enrolment procedures for young people in courses and training programmes School Supplies: manage requirements for materials needed in training activities and company-based internships, and procure them accordingly Profile: ● Technician in vocational guidance, social education, or a related field ● Knowledge of the Catalan education system (PFI, Intermediate Level Qualifications, scholarships) ● Experience working with vulnerable youth ● Familiarity with administrative procedures for migrants (NIE, qualification recognition) ● Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously ● Capacity to collaborate effectively with training centres and other organizations ● Experience in managing and supporting volunteers is highly valued Salary: €24,000.00–€26,000.00 per year Work Location: On-site position
