Summary: IAV is seeking an experienced Android Software Engineer with expertise in automotive environments to expand their team and develop software for in-vehicle infotainment systems. To further expand our business with customers in Spain, we aim to strengthen our team with an experienced Android Software Engineer specializing in the automotive domain. Your responsibilities: * You develop Android software in Java and Kotlin based on the Android SDK for in-vehicle infotainment systems * You design and implement flexible software architectures as well as interface specifications for internal and external software components * You ensure software quality through the implementation of unit tests and continuous integration * You work on-site with customers to clarify technical questions and test the software directly in vehicles * You participate in development projects following Scrum or SAFe Required qualifications: * Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, a STEM field, or a comparable discipline * Very good knowledge of object-oriented programming in Java * Solid experience in development with AOSP and app development * Proven experience in Clean Code development, for example by applying SOLID principles * Proficiency in Linux environments, build tools, and Git, Jira, and Confluence * Fluent spoken and written Spanish and English Desired qualifications: * Knowledge of Kotlin * Experience with Android Automotive * Background in automotive software development Why choose us: Take responsibility instead of being just another cog in the machine.
