At Boehringer Ingelheim, we are launching the new edition of our 2026 Internship Program, designed for enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and contribute to our purpose: improving the lives of present and future generations. The Commercial Controlling department plays a key role within the organization, acting as a strategic business partner to ensure informed, results-driven decision-making. The team is responsible for monitoring financial performance, analyzing key sales and expense drivers, and supporting various commercial areas in strategy planning and execution. During this experience, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of how controlling contributes to the business by actively participating in results analysis, tracking key performance indicators, and financial planning processes. Throughout the internship, you will gain proficiency in analytical and reporting tools, understand the dynamics of the pharmaceutical business, and collaborate with the team to generate insights that support decision-making—all within a collaborative and continuously learning environment. **What will your day-to-day look like?** * You will collaborate on monthly and annual closings, as well as financial planning. * You will support consolidating the Commercial Controlling department’s 2026 annual task calendar to facilitate team planning. * You will assist in improving departmental process documentation (e.g., updating manuals). * You will use key tools such as SAP and advanced Excel for analyses. * You will collaborate in preparing selected Business Cases and responding to queries from our Business Partners. **What kind of candidate are we looking for?** * **Education:** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, or Engineering. * **Competencies:** Motivation to learn, proactivity, analytical ability, organizational skills, and teamwork. * **Technical Skills:** Excel knowledge is valued. * **Language:** Advanced spoken and written English. * **Availability:** Start date on September 18, 2026, with the possibility of completing a 12-month internship agreement. **What do we offer?** Here are some examples of how we’ll support you: * Paid internships (€1,000/month – 40 hours/week). * A mentor to guide your learning journey. * An intern community offering activities to foster your development. * Campus in Sant Cugat del Vallès: outdoor spaces, smartworking options, cafeteria, transportation service (shuttle from FGC station). * Flexible working hours. * Continuous training: language courses, soft skills e-learning platform, LinkedIn Learning, and more. * Access to Wellhub.
