At Boehringer Ingelheim, we are launching the new edition of our 2026 Internship Program, aimed at individuals who are enthusiastic, eager to learn, and committed to our purpose: improving the lives of present and future generations. We are seeking candidates for the following two positions: **1\. CHEMICAL LABORATORY** The Chemical Laboratory, part of the Quality Control (QC) department, is responsible for performing physicochemical analyses to ensure the quality, safety, and regulatory compliance of pharmaceutical products. **What will your day-to-day look like?** * You will learn activities related to the physicochemical analysis of medicines and raw materials within a chemical laboratory, gaining hands-on experience in analytical techniques. * You will support defining and organizing the laboratory’s Analysis Plan, contributing to the team’s planning of analytical activities. * You will participate in the documentary review of analyses and activities performed in the laboratory, ensuring compliance with quality standards. * You will collaborate on drafting and updating equipment manuals and associated SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), acquiring knowledge in GMP documentation. * You will support quality discrepancy management, participating in their follow-up and contributing to continuous process improvement. **2\. PACKAGING MATERIALS CONTROL LABORATORY** The Packaging Materials Laboratory forms part of the Chemical Laboratory and is responsible for analyzing packaging materials and drug delivery devices, aiming to ensure compliance with current regulatory requirements and quality standards. **What will your day-to-day look like?** * You will learn the analysis workflow for a packaging material (inhalation technology) within a Chemical Laboratory. * You will assist in defining the laboratory team’s Sampling and Analysis Plan. * You will support the documentary review of analyses performed in the laboratory for various packaging materials, developing in-depth knowledge of the analytical documentation required for compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices. * You will have the opportunity to support your mentor in managing quality discrepancies. * You will participate in the supplier claim management process. * You will have the opportunity to learn the benefits of teamwork by participating in interdepartmental meetings focused on continuous improvement of packaging materials. **What type of candidate are we looking for?** * **Education:** Bachelor’s/Master’s/Postgraduate degree in Health Sciences. * **Competencies:** Organized and methodical individual with quick learning ability, autonomy, and strong communication and empathy skills. * **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, filters), knowledge of Analytical Chemistry, and familiarity with GMP regulations and their interpretation. * **Language:** Spanish and advanced English. * **Availability:** Start date on 18 September 2026, with possibility of completing a 12-month internship agreement. **What do we offer?** Here are some examples of how we’ll support you: * Paid internships (€1,000/month – 40 hours/week). * A mentor to guide your learning journey. * An intern community offering activities to foster your development. * Campus in Sant Cugat del Vallès: outdoor spaces, smartworking, cafeteria, transportation service (shuttle from FGC station). * Flexible working hours. * Continuous training: languages, soft skills e-learning platform, LinkedIn Learning, and much more. * Access to Wellhub.
