At SOCOTEC Spain, we are an international engineering firm specializing in inspection, quality control, testing, and technical consultancy, participating in infrastructure, industrial, and construction projects throughout the asset lifecycle. We are currently seeking to hire an Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspector to participate in various projects and serve clients in the Barcelona area. Job Mission The selected candidate will perform non-destructive inspections and tests in diverse industrial and construction environments, ensuring compliance with the quality and safety standards established for each project. The candidate will work in coordination with various technical teams and participate in diverse projects for clients across multiple sectors. Responsibilities * Conducting non-destructive tests in the field. * Performing inspections according to applicable procedures and regulations. * Preparing technical reports and recording results. * Verifying compliance with quality and safety criteria. * Coordinating with project managers and clients. * Traveling to various locations and projects within the assigned area. Requirements * Prior experience conducting non-destructive tests and inspections. * Valid Class B driving license and availability for travel. * Ability to work across diverse environments and projects. * A responsible, organized, and technically quality-oriented profile. Desirable * UNE-EN ISO 9712 certification in at least one of the following methods: + UT (Ultrasonic Testing) + VT (Visual Testing) + MT (Magnetic Particle Testing) + PT (Liquid Penetrant Testing) * Experience in industrial sectors, oil & gas, energy, metallic structures, or infrastructure. * Experience working with multiple clients and simultaneous projects. * Occupational Health and Safety (PRL) training.
